Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani affirmed the government's support for the steps taken by the Central Bank of Iraq and the Trade Bank of Iraq, in cooperation with the international firm KPMG, to ensure the rapid completion of auditing tasks for the Iraqi banking system.

During his meeting with a delegation from KPMG, a company specializing in auditing and financial consulting, on Tuesday, al-Sudani stated that banking reform in Iraq has become a model of commitment and trust.

He indicated that the Iraqi government is counting on this strategic partnership with specialized companies to enhance the credibility of Iraqi state institutions in the eyes of the international financial and economic community, according to the German news agency DPA.
