Jordanian exports to the Iraqi market increased by 12% during the first seven months of this year, compared to the same period last year, according to the latest Jordanian foreign trade figures issued by the Department of Statistics.
According to official figures, the value of Jordanian exports to Iraq by the end of last July amounted to 525 million Jordanian dinars (approximately $740 million), compared to 470 million Jordanian dinars, marking an increase of 55 million dinars.
The Iraqi market accounted for approximately 24% of total national exports to the markets of the Greater Arab Free Trade Area (GAF), which amounted to 2.214 billion dinars by the end of last July.
It also accounted for approximately 10% of total exports, amounting to 5.268 billion dinars.
Jordanian exports to Iraq increased by 12%.
