The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has officially set the dates for our national team's two matches against its Emirati counterpart in the play-offs for the 2026 World Cup.
A statement from the AFC, followed by the Iraq Times Agency, stated that "the first leg between Iraq and the UAE will be on (13) November at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi at eight o'clock in the evening."
The statement added that "the second leg between the two teams will be on (18) November at Basra International Stadium at seven o'clock in the evening."
Officially, the Asian Football Confederation sets the dates for the Iraq and UAE play-off matches.
