The Union of Islamic Religious Scholars in Kurdistan calls for active participation in the elections.
The Kurdistan Islamic Scholars Union affirmed on Monday that elections are a crucial process for renewing the country's administration and safeguarding the people's interests.

In a statement, the Union said that the electoral process represents a great trust and responsibility that must be conducted with integrity, transparency, and impartiality.

The statement indicated that Kurdistan's strong position within the Iraqi political arena contributes to defending its constitutional and national rights. It emphasized that broad and effective citizen participation within the legal and legitimate framework is essential, while considering the interests of the people and the nation and fostering an atmosphere of stability.

The Kurdistan Islamic Scholars Union stressed that the electoral process constitutes a religious and national duty, particularly in the Kurdish areas outside the Kurdistan Region's administration, and called on citizens to actively participate.

The Union expressed its hope that this process will contribute to the well-being of Kurdistan and support peace, development, and harmony within the Kurdish community.
