The commission: Final results may be announced today or tomorrow.
The spokesperson for the Independent High Electoral Commission, Jumana al-Ghalai, indicated that the final results of the Iraqi parliamentary elections are likely to be announced either today, Sunday, or tomorrow, Monday, noting that the remaining polling stations have been counted.

In a statement issued on Sunday, October 16, 2025, al-Ghalai said, "The Commission has finalized the results from the remaining polling stations, and all results match the manual count and sorting 100%."

She added, "The Commission is beginning today to calculate the seats, including the women's and minority quota seats," noting that "the provincial electoral offices have begun providing the alliances, parties, and candidates with the results sheets."

She continued, "The final results are likely to be announced today or tomorrow. After their announcement by a decision of the Board of Commissioners, the Commission will open a three-day period for appeals, starting the day after the results are published on the Commission's official website."

It is worth noting that the Iraqi Independent High Electoral Commission announced the preliminary results of the parliamentary elections last Wednesday, which saw a 56.11% voter turnout to elect 329 members of parliament.
