Parliament votes to reinstate the grade improvement system and adopt the retake system.

The Iraqi Parliament announced on Saturday that it had voted to reinstate the grade improvement system and adopt a retake system.

The Parliament's media office stated in a press release received by Iraq Times Agency that "after voting to add it to the agenda, the Parliament voted on a recommendation to the Ministry of Education to reinstate the grade improvement system for the 2024-2025 academic year, adopt a retake system, and allow sixth-grade preparatory students to attend school and take exams."
