Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi held extensive talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in Ankara on Tuesday evening, covering a number of bilateral issues, most notably the Development Road project and cooperation in the oil, water, energy, security, and trade sectors.
The Prime Minister's Media Office stated in a press release that "al-Zaidi and Erdoğan co-chaired the extensive joint talks at the Presidential Complex in Ankara, where the two sides discussed the implementation of the strategic Development Road project, in addition to issues related to the oil, water, energy, security, trade, transportation, and education sectors, as well as strengthening joint cooperation and developing projects between the two countries."
