The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zaidan, and his accompanying delegation met today, Thursday, August 13, 2026, with Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa at the People's Palace in Damascus, in the presence of Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani and Justice Minister Mazhar al-Wais.
The meeting addressed ways to enhance cooperation between the two brotherly countries in the judicial and legal fields, in addition to discussing a number of issues of common interest.
