Our national under-17 football team lost to its Emirati counterpart 1-0 in the semi-finals of the Gulf Cup, held in Qatar.
With this result, our team was eliminated from the tournament, while the UAE team advanced to the final match against Saudi Arabia.
The Saudi under-17 football team had secured a place in the final of the Gulf Cup, defeating its Qatari counterpart 2-1 in the first semi-final match of the tournament, held Tuesday evening at Hamad Grand Stadium in Al Arabi Club.
