President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid received the credentials of the new ambassadors of the Republic of Finland, Antti Potkonen, the European Union Delegation, Clemens Sumner, and the Federal Republic of Germany, Daniel Kreber, today, Sunday, at the Baghdad Palace.
The Presidency of the Republic's media stated in a statement received by the Iraq Times Agency that during his reception of the ambassadors individually, the President affirmed Iraq's constant endeavor to establish balanced relations with countries around the world based on common interests and to expand the horizons of political, economic, and commercial cooperation. He expressed his wishes for success in carrying out their duties and strengthening the friendly and cooperative relations between Iraq and their countries.
For their part, the ambassadors expressed their thanks and appreciation to the President, affirming their countries' aspirations to strengthen relations with Iraq in various fields.
